Programs: Congregate Meals, Exercise, Games, Dancing
The Kaufman Senior Citizens Center, also known as "The Home of the Recycled Teenagers," is a place of friendship, food, and fun. Domino games (42) are a daily activity, every Friday we have bingo games, the first and third Thursday of each month we have pickin'-n'-grinnin', and the third Wednesday of every month is a covered dish day. The coffee is always on. A hot lunch is served daily at 11:30 Monday through Friday. Various other activities throughout the month include health fairs, exercise, brain teasers, and music just to name a few. Star Transit is always available to provide transportation to the center if needed. So please come and visit us anytime, call the Kaufman Senior Center to make your reservation for lunch at 972.932.7002.
We also provide the Meals On Wheels program in Kaufman area which provides hot lunches for seniors that are homebound and unable to cook for themselves. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday.
